Comic-Con- huh?

I've been reading online about Comic-Con and wondering what all the buzz is about this event. For those not in the know like me it is similar to Cannes but the focus is comic book based movies. I liked how the LA Times classified it as "Sundance for SuperGeeks". I have been a fan of J.J. Abrams since his days from Felicity and Alias (two of my all time favorite TV shows). We're back from Vegas...

No, we didn't run off and get married. We headed to Vegas to see my cousin Michelle get married at the Planet Hollywood Hotel. It was a very nice wedding. Here are some photos from out trip.

We stayed at the Stratosphere Hotel and here we are visiting the top of the tower checking out the incredible view of the strip. Wish we'd visited at night as I bet the view is spectacular with the strip all lit up!
