12 of 12 (3): April 2008

Happy April everyone! It's spring time here in Arizona and the weather is so perfect. Unfortunately, the LOML had to work today so he was stuck in the office for a portion of the day but I got to spend some time with excersizing, having breakfast with my Grandma Lucy and hanging out with my mom and nephew Brycen. Here's 12 pics from day. This fun concept goes to Chad Darnell, click here to find out more and get busy participating!
7:00am - On my walk to Grandma's house for breakfast of eggs, red chile and bacon. It was very yummy (sorry no pic of the fabu breakfast that G-Lucy made)!

7:05am - The sprinklers were on and the sunlight hit it just right that I got a pic of this pretty rainbow. It was such a beautiful morning!

7:10am - This is the new housing developement that just went up in the neighborhood. They are very cute homes, very close to one another and very different from what we normally have in Arizona.

7:15am - The bougainvillea flowers are all in bloom here. They are so beautiful and seen anywhere you go around town.

10:30am - Mom and Brycen picked me up and we headed to the Dinosaur exhibit at the AZ Science Museum. This is a pic of mom with a few pieces of hair sticking straight up in the sun roof. Brycen thought this was very funny of his crazy Grandma!

11:00am - Chase field home of the AZ Diamondbacks. We are in downtown Phoenix making our way to the AZ Science Museum.

11:05am - Super scary dino peeking over the wall of the AZ Science Museum. Brycen was super excited to see this since it was our destination.

11:15am - Brycen took this picture and if I do say so he did a pretty fab job! This was at the entrance where you purchased your tickets.

11:30am - A nice guy at the museum took this pic of us with a dino behind us.

11:35am - Mom and Brycen excavating a dinosaur.

12:00pm - The most fascinating thing for Brycen at the AZ Science Museum was the rock exhibit. He's excited about learning more about rocks and had tons of questions which unfortunately Grandma Debbie and me are no experts.

2:00pm - Pool time...it was very refreshing and Brycen had fun trying to soak grandma and me.

Hanging with the niece & nephew

We spent this past Sunday with Sophia and Shane while mom and dad were whooping it up in Vegas. Here are some photos from our day. We got to do some pool time as the complex pool is heated and it was a lovely 70 degrees. The pool felt like bath water which was quite nice.

As you can see the LOML got to be the throw master and also got to be the jungle joe as the kids were hanging all over him. Needless to say he slept very well that night.

Our afternoon wouldn't be complete without a musical number from Miss Sophia. Here she is singing us a song using her High School Musical microphone. She's a natural performer.

Oh and she is a master tongue clicker which I happened to capture on video. I can't believe how loud she is able to click her tongue to the roof of her mouth. She tried to teach me but I was completely hopeless. You rock Miss Sophia!
