Gotta love Audrey Hepburn

I love this Gap Ad featuring Audrey Hepburn, but then again I adore her and her movies. I think it is ingenius of Gap to use Audrey's dancing sequence from Funny Face to advertise for the "Skinny Pant" (something I will never be wearing in this lifetime) and that is shows how much fashion comes back full circle. Let's hope we don't see the neon shirts and socks anytime soon!

The meaning of my name....

I stumbled across a site that will tell you the meaning behind your first name (click on the title to find your name's meaning). This is what it said about Christina: It is the feminine form of Christian. This was the name of a Swedish queen of the 17th century who was interested in the arts and philosophy. She gave up her crown to become a Roman Catholic.

I did a little research and found this picture of Queen Christina. Nice hat and check out that cleavage!

It reminded me of the freedom we have in the United States of America and thought it was appropriate for this months 12 of 12 since we just had the anniversary of 9/11 and it was a primary election day. Fall TV Schedule

I'm a big TV watcher. I'll admit it! I especially love the new fall premieres. I enjoy reading all the magazines describing the new shows and then watching them to see if they are worthy of my time. The latest TV Guide provided a handy dandy Prime-Time look at all the new shows. Now I am thoroughly informed and can't wait to tune it.
